Interpol Arrests 25 suspect ANONYMOUS hackers !!

29 Feb

This just in …..

INTERPOL (international police) have arrested 25 individual aged 17 to 40, suspected to be ANONYMOUS hackers.

Operation Unmask was launched in mid-February following a series of coordinated cyber-attacks originating from Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Spain against the Colombian Ministry of Defence and presidential websites, as well as Chile’s Endesa electricity company and its National Library, among others.

Police statement said two servers used by the group in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic have been blocked.

It said the four hackers arrested from SPAIN included the alleged manager of Anonymous’ computer operations in Spain and Latin America, who was identified only by his initials and the aliases “Thunder” and “Pacotron.”

The four are suspected of defacing websites, carrying out denial-of-service attacks and publishing data on police assigned to the royal palace and the premier’s office online. Some 250 items of IT equipment and mobile phones were also seized during searches of 40 premises across 15 cities during the operation, as well as payment cards and cash,

One of Anonymous’ most spectacular coups: Secretly recording a conference call between U.S. and British cyber investigators tasked with bringing the group to justice.

MY take :

Hey INTERPOL ,, why dont you go arrest real terrorists and criminals, who hide in plain sight.
