As I was in the throes of checking out new posts / videos.,

I came across this exceptional video called : “The AFGHAN Camera Box Project”

Well anyways watch this video first : It’s a VERY informative documentary on photography, we shall discuss my views later.

This is the Camera being used in Afghanistan even today. A very old art which i though extinct eons ago, but it is well and thriving on the streets of KABUL.

That aside what shocked me when i saw this video was the knowledge of an ANNOUNCEMENT by NOKIA :

They have launched a 41 megapixel Smartphone, a technological milestone, something I never thought possible….. apple still boasts of maximum 8 megapixel …

So while the world is eager to receive a 41 mp smartphone or even a smartphone with a built-in projector ( Samsung Galaxy BEAM ), Afghanistan still lives in the dark ages, in the stone age. Learning to ride Donkeys and camels rather than driving automatic cars, I doubt they even have Wireless Internet or even mobile services.

And yet instead of progressing towards a better future, not for themselves but their Children,

    well all the problems the country faced did not make it easier .. first the russians then the taliban and then americans .. all had their way with them
    sad though …

      If for once they stood up for themselves and did something about their land rather than indulge in RIDICULOUS religious Extremism …. they would stand a chance …
